California Real Estate license plus college courses toward Broker's license: Legal Aspects of Real Estate; Real Estate Finance; Real Estate Practice; Real Estate Appraisal.  Harriet has continued her education by completing certificates recognized by NAR (Natl. Assoc. of Realtors) and CAR (Calif. Assoc. of Realtors) as expert as ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist-sensitive to special needs and tax laws pertaining to Sellers and Buyers age 55+).  She will soon complete the only certificate recognized by NAR for agents handling Short-Sales and Foreclosures- SFAR and most recently, CDPE: Certified Distressed Property Expert.

Personal Background 
   
A resident of San Francisco and the Peninsula for over 38 years, Harriet is married and the mother of three grown children. Growing up in a real estate family, she acquired an early interest in the field and purchased her first property, 2 duplexes on one lot, at the age of 24.  With a teaching background, she developed great organizational skills and quick-and-easy problem-solving techniques, wonderful assets in the field of real estate. She developed and ran a retail business at Marine World and served as a community volunteer for many years.
